… But this is my favorite track from the Hannibal score. According to Wiki, it’s an aria “based on Dante’s ‘La Vita Nuova’, specifically on the sonnet ‘A ciascun’alma presa’, in chapter 3 of the ‘Vita Nuova’”. Okay! I just know it’s purty.
(You might also recognize it from Kingdom of Heaven, which features it during a fairly emotional scene; too bad my brain always ruins said scene by supplying the little “ta ta, - H” shocker from the end.)
